The Fourth Sunday of Lent, also known as Laetare Sunday, brings a note of joy in the midst of penance. We are reminded that light overcomes darkness and that God’s grace restores what was lost.
Today we rejoice in spiritual renewal.
Bible Verse of the Day
“One thing I do know is that I was blind and now I see.” – John 9:25
A Prayer of Rejoicing and Hope
Lord Jesus,
You opened the eyes of the blind and revealed the light of truth. In the midst of this Lenten journey, You remind me that Your grace brings illumination and hope.
At times I have walked in spiritual blindness, unaware of my faults or resistant to change. Yet You patiently lead me toward clarity and understanding.
Open my eyes to Your truth. Help me to see my life as You see it. Illuminate areas that need growth and guide me toward renewal.
Thank You for the grace You have already given me this Lent. Thank You for every small step of progress, every moment of repentance, every act of love.
Fill my heart with hope. Let this Sunday refresh my spirit and remind me that Your light always overcomes darkness.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
