As we continue through the third week of Lent, Christ reminds us of the greatest commandment: to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. True devotion is not partial. It is wholehearted.
Today we pray for undivided love.
Bible Verse of the Day
” You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” – Matthew 22:37
A Prayer for Wholehearted Love
Lord God,
You call me to love You with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind. Yet I confess that my love is often divided. I give You part of my attention, part of my devotion, part of my trust.
Forgive me for loving You half-heartedly. Forgive me for allowing other priorities to overshadow my relationship with You.
Teach me to love You completely. Let my thoughts reflect Your truth. Let my desires align with Your will. Let my actions glorify Your name.
Remove anything that competes with You in my heart. Purify my attachments. Help me to place You first in every area of my life.
During this Lenten journey, deepen my love. Let it be sincere, faithful, and joyful. May my devotion grow stronger each day.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
