As opposition to Jesus increases, He speaks clearly about truth and freedom. True freedom comes not from independence, but from remaining in His word.
Today we pray for freedom through obedience.

A Prayer for True Freedom
Lord Jesus,
You promise that truth brings freedom. Yet I often confuse freedom with comfort or self-direction. I forget that true liberty is found in obedience to Your Word.
Free me from the chains of sin. Free me from unhealthy attachments and habits that bind my heart. Release me from fear that keeps me from fully following You.
Help me to remain in Your Word. Give me discipline to meditate on Scripture. Let Your truth shape my thoughts and actions.
When obedience feels difficult, strengthen my resolve. When temptation arises, remind me that Your truth leads to life.
As Lent draws nearer to Holy Week, deepen my understanding of freedom. May I follow You not out of obligation, but out of love.
