Holy Week has begun. The atmosphere is solemn. Every action of Christ now carries the weight of the approaching Passion.
Today we remain near Him in quiet devotion.
Bible Verse of the Day
“Mary took a liter of costly perfumed oil made from genuine aromatic nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and dried them with her hair; the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.” – John 12:3
A Prayer of Loving Offering
Lord Jesus,
In Bethany, Mary knelt before You and poured out costly perfume upon Your feet. Her act was extravagant, intimate, and filled with love.
Teach me to love You with that same generosity. Remove hesitation from my heart. Help me offer You not what is convenient, but what is precious.
In this sacred week, I desire to remain close to You. Let my prayer be sincere. Let my devotion be wholehearted.
Even when others misunderstand or criticize, give me courage to express love openly. May I not measure my offering by worldly standards, but by gratitude for Your sacrifice.
As You move toward the Cross, allow me to remain near, attentive, and faithful.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
