As Lent deepens, the Lord invites us to trust His justice and mercy. Even when we do not understand His ways, He remains faithful and righteous. He sees what is hidden and judges with truth.
Today we place our confidence in His just and loving guidance.
Bible Verse of the Day
” Lord of hosts, just Judge, searcher of mind and heart, Let me witness the vengeance you take on them, for to you I have entrusted my cause!” – Jeremiah 11:20
A Prayer for Confidence in God’s Justice
Lord God,
You judge with wisdom and righteousness. You see beyond appearances and know the intentions of every heart. Nothing is hidden from Your sight.
At times I struggle to understand Your ways. I question why certain trials occur. I grow impatient when justice seems delayed. Forgive me for doubting Your perfect judgment.
Teach me to trust that You are always just. When I feel misunderstood, remind me that You know my heart. When I see injustice around me, help me to entrust it to You rather than allowing bitterness to grow within me.
Purify my own heart and intentions. Remove hypocrisy and hidden pride. Let me stand before You with sincerity and humility.
As I continue this Lenten journey, strengthen my confidence in Your providence. Help me to walk in integrity, knowing that You see and guide all things according to Your loving will.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
