Lenten Preparation – Day 4: Saturday After Ash Wednesday

As we reach the first Saturday of Lent, we are reminded that repentance leads to healing. God does not call us to conversion without also offering restoration. His mercy is greater than our failures.

Today we trust in His promise to hear and answer those who call upon Him.

Bible Verse of the Day

“Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: “Here I am!” – Isaiah 58:9

A Prayer for Healing

Loving Father,
You are rich in mercy and abundant in compassion. When I call upon You, You do not turn away. You listen with love.

I bring before You the wounds in my heart. Heal the pain caused by sin, disappointment, and past mistakes. Restore what has been broken within me. Cleanse me of guilt and fear.

Sometimes I struggle to believe that I am truly forgiven. Strengthen my faith in Your mercy. Help me to trust that Your grace is greater than my weakness.

Heal my relationships. Heal my thoughts. Heal the habits that keep me from growing spiritually. Pour Your peace into every restless part of my soul.

As I continue this Lenten journey, let healing take root within me. Renew my hope. Strengthen my trust. Draw me closer to Your Sacred Heart.

I place my life in Your loving hands.

Amen.
