Sunday Reflection – 04 June 2023

The Holy Trinity Solemnity

Also Read: Mass Readings for 04 June 2023

First Reading: Exodus 34: 4b-6, 8-9

And Moses quickly bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped. (8)

May we realize today, that it is the Lord GOD Almighty whom we serve. We experience this only through the power of the Holy Spirit. The fear of the Lord is a charism of the Holy Spirit. A Holy Fear of the Lord GOD is a gift to us and once we receive it; we will tread this earth ever so reverently, knowing whose we are!

Amen, In Jesus’ name, Alleluia!

Responsorial Psalm: Daniel 3: 52-56

“Blessed are you, O Lord, God of our ancestors, and to be praised and highly exalted forever; And blessed is your glorious, holy name, and to be highly praised and highly exalted forever.” (52)

We call on you as adopted children of the Most Holy One Lord God The Almighty. Amen!

Second Reading: Second Corinthians 13: 11-13

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. (13)

Thank You O Lord GOD Almighty for these words; which we recite at the daily Holy Eucharistic celebration. Your words O Lord are true, perfect, and alive; they sanctify our spirit and soul.

Amen!

Gospel: John 3: 16-18

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. (16)

Christ Jesus taught us that Our God is a merciful Father. (Mt. 6:9) Here again, God’s boundless love and mercy for us, his creatures, is emphasized by Christ Jesus. We are greatly favored and highly blessed. May we respond to God’s love and mercy by living a life worthy of his mercy toward us.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
