The Holy Trinity Solemnity

Also Read: Mass Readings for 31 May 2026

First Reading: Exodus 34: 4b-6, 8-9

The Making of the Promise!

So Moses cut two tablets of stone like the former ones; and he rose early in the morning and went up on Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tablets of stone. The Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name, “The Lord.” (4-5)

We thank and praise the Lord for his mercy on us. The Lord descended and stood with Moses and made a covenant with him there! We cannot fathom the immense glory of God that would have descended that day. When Moses remained obedient to the Lord’s promptings, he was able to witness the glory of God and was granted the covenant and the Law!

We praise and thank the Lord for his great love and mercy on us. Through his humble servant Moses, he led his people! We ask the Lord to grant us the wisdom to be humble and obedient to his promptings in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Responsorial Psalm: Daniel 3: 52-56

“Blessed are you, O Lord, God of our ancestors, and to be praised and highly exalted forever;

And blessed is your glorious, holy name, and to be highly praised and highly exalted forever.” (52)

Alleluia, Amen!

Second Reading: Second Corinthians 13: 11-13

God’s abiding presence among his people!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. (13)

As St. Paul bids farewell to the people of Corinth, he gives this amazing blessing in the name of the Holy Trinity, One God! We hear this phrase at every Holy Mass as the priest invites us to a holy communion with the Lord! Christ set us a daily meeting with God in the Holy Eucharist celebration! We get to experience the descent of the Holy Spirit at the Altar as the priest invokes Him! We are blessed!

Each time we go for Mass, let us make it a conviction to immerse ourselves in the Holy Eucharistic celebration. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Alleluia: Revelation 1: 8

Alleluia! “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Alleluia, Alleluia!

Gospel: John 3: 16-18

Fulfilled Promise!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” (16)

In Jeremiah 31: 31-34, the Promise is prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New Testament in Christ Jesus! God himself descended and lived here, to take his flock back into his kingdom!

Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (17)

We are living in the New Covenant! Let us always remember we are on sacred ground, in divine presence. The Lord Jesus Christ in his holy body remains united in us, through the Holy Eucharist! Let us revere this Holy Sacrament and worship the Lord who wishes to always abide in us, in Jesus’ name, Amen! Alleluia

Happy Feast of the Holy Trinity! Alleluia, Amen!
